I think I'm becoming addicted to foreign cinema

Run Lola Run
Ran
7 Samurai (Anything by Akira Kurisawa)
Ongbak (One of the best action films ever - the guy does all his stunts with no wires)

Man bites dog. Text You gotta see this movie. It takes dark humor to an all time high. You'll be disgusted and ashamed at yourself for laughing but youll still laugh.( I did anyways )

There are a ton of foreign films that I love. One of those would be the French film Le Quattre Cent Coups (sp?). I also tend to love anything by foreign directors, even if they were in America. A good film is Double Indemnity.

Also:

Der Untergang
Das Boot
Insomnia (Scandanavia)
Metropolis

Anything from Hong Kong or South Korea or even mainland China now is pretty amazing.

You're wrong. HK has some $hitty movies. I know because I've watched quite a bit of them.
TVB HK Drama for the win (even though they keep re-using the same cast over and over.. hehe!)

Definitely Les Diaboliques. Seriously, it is widely regarded as the most suspenseful movie ever made. The last five minutes of the movie will have you crawling up walls. I literally had to get off my couch and watch the last part of the film standing up. It was that intense

Stay away from the Sharon Stone remake.

La Strada is hard to beat. I love this film. It is probably too old for all you young people though....and it is Italian. I do not consider Asian cinema even watchable most of the time.

I haven't watched too many foreign films. The ones I have seen are ones that people said were really good so I think every foreign film that I've seen I've liked.

No Mans Land (I think this was the name)
Life Is Beautiful
Das Boot
Run Lola Run

Good bye Lenin.

About a family stationed in East berlin during the fall of the cold war. Very memorable movie for those who follow the history of the cold war and germany.

Imdb link for the movie.

I liked "The City of Lost Children", "Delicatessen", and "La Femme Nikita". "Amelie" was okay. "Il Mostro" was friggin' hilarious. "Shaolin Soccer" and "Kung Fu Hustle" are both awesomely weird fun. "Das Boot" is one of the best movies ever; it's sad that W. Petersen went sort of downhill from there. "Metropolis" was awesome-- both the original and the anime movie of the same name.

There was a thread on this a few months ago.
What are the best foreign films you've seen?

I like these threads.

I thought City of God and City of Lost Children were awful movies.
Delicatessen was weird but kept my interest.
Run Lola Run was good.

Here are my contributions.

No Man's Land - This is a surprisingly excellent movie.
Prisoner of the Mountains

Edit: Link repair

Hate- Its French. Its written and directed by the guy who played the male lead in Amelie. It gives a pretty fascinating view of poverty and racism in France and has some amazing characters to go along with it.

Simon of the Desert, The Nazarin, and Un Chien Andalou- Mexican/Frenchish?- Luis Bunuel was a genius. No one should go without seeing at least one or two of his best films. These are my three favorite but there are plenty more that are excellent.

Nowhere In Africa- German- Kinda like Out of Africa, but I actually liked this one.

I'm mostly into European films (well, French it seems). Some good ones I've seen recently (though not my favorites) are:

The Dinner Game - a short comedy
The Closet - same guy who directed Dinner Game, about a guy who pretends to be gay so he can keep his job (comedy)
Man on the Train - about two men who want to live each other's lives... or something

Chusteczka recommended some good ones too (though I haven't seen most of them). I thought Delicatessen got to be a bit over-the-top towards the end though... I stopped watching.
