I got an email today from claimsupport@xppcentral.com. The message was pretty cryptic but it sent me to the site to fill out my address info and when I was done it said my prize would ship in 3-4 weeks. So I think I was an online winner.

What speed processor were they giving out?

I heard it was a Cyrix 486-33 or something similar. Just make sure you don't let BurntKooshie know or he'll be jealous.

Actually in the online contest the motherboard is the Gigabyte GA7-DX. For the processor though it just says "Athlon XP Processor" and does not give a speed. I hope it is an 1800+ that would be sweet (and actually I do already have one of these crunching for me so good luck catching me now).

I read a similar thread over at DSLR. The dude copied the letter into his message and it was very hard to dertermine if he had really won. The offending words were "potential winner."

There are a couple of people at DSLR that have won online. I won at the contest in Baltimore. What I got was the 1800+, the coolermaster DP5-6I11A HSF and the Gigabyte GA-7DX motherboard. Not bad for getting it for free. Sure beats the Pentium 150 that it replaced!!!

Yeah the last drawing was on the 22nd. I found it wierd that I recieved notice of winning on the 30th. However, it said that if people didn't claim their prizes within 14 days they would be given out to so someone else, I guess that someone is me.
