A7n8x doesn't have a 12v aux connector. Asus never did put it on any of their Socket A boards, and it was the source of quite a few problems.

It's not the lack of the +12v connector that caused issues, it was the fact that the MB's voltage regulation circuitry drew most of it's power through the +5v rail, as opposed to the much more common +12v rail.
 
you should've insisted that you NEED a trusty antec smartpower PSU

besides, all of those stuff are more advanced than what i have now =(
