I dont need anything Big Like an XP-90 its just for a Stock Clocked Sempron 2800

The "Hook" on the Swing Latch of my Stock HSF appears to be broken in that the ottom piece of the Hook isn't there Looks Liek an upside Down "L" then a "[" like the Pics I've seen like the one at Mechbegons site.

I dont want to spend a ton on it either
I'm lookign at this one

Any other suggestions?

Actually, I forgot about Zalman. I thought they were out of your price range for a sec (I thought the AC64 was $17 instead of $27). Zalman. I 4th it. See my sig, I own the 7700AlCu (cools only slightly better than the 7000AlCu, which is like $30).

You cant go wrong with a regular stock fan if youre not going to be over clocking anything....
A stock fan will work just fine!!!

With that said...Zalman looks so cool in the case.......why would anybody in their right mind advocate using a stock fan.....😛

LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING.......hehehehee

??

zalman comes with every part that you need to replace the stock HSF and/or pin and such.

Well I called AMD

Apparently Its Not broken.. The guy told me they no longer come with the Hook at the bottom hhm...

I was told This CPU (Sempron 2800) is designed for a max of 70c and will shut down itself at that temp, and that running at 44c idle was A OK....

So Maybe I dont need any additional cooling, ahwell I already ordered soem more Case Fans
