Maetryx here,

I was going around installing dnetc at work, and a few of the computers had it on still from way back at the beginning of the year. I installed the latest RC5 client, which automatically placed itself in the directory of the older client. One computer indicated that it sent 264 WU or Blocks (can't remember which) and another computer indicated that it was sending 1510 WU (!) and it took a couple minutes to send them on our 512/512kbps wireless internet.

Is it possible that this Pentium II 350 processed 1510 WU without sending them in? If it didn't send them in peridocially, why not? Anyway, their both TACUBE clients so, I hope the boost is noticeable.

In my head I pictured more than one response. Is it possible that 1774 WU for RC5 are inconsequential?

I hope that total is Wu's, that could be ALOT of blocks! Have you looked on TA's pproxy to see if there was a spike around the time you dumped? As far as why it wasn't dumping periodically, if you post the ini we can see if we can figure it out. Then also, if it wasnt fetching either, than the ratio of wu's to blocks is 1:1 so that number of blocks wouldnt be that high. But don't get me wrong...any block is a good block!:)

MadRat, how long do you think it's been since the flush? If it's been a long while, it's possible only a handful will count.:(

I had found this past spring that when the network connection was down (poor quality ISP) and blocks needed to be loaded, that the remote herd would not reload when the connection was alive. I had to go around and manually force a fetch/flush.
