was trying to format a loaded hd from another system, wouldn't format so i fdisk'ed it, (by deleting my primary dos partition) now it's just flipping between 0 & 1 %. what did i do, and how do i fix it? jer

not to big a f-up. i'm loading windows now but it wouldn't allow for large drives. i'm able to use 2 gig of a 6.4 gig drive. can i fix this? jer

have you / did you try fdisk with large file support (it should ask you when you run fdisk)?
also, is it fat or fat32?
i'm not so sure about this, but if it's FAT partition, it has limit of 2gb size ....

yeah, i tried to enable large drives and it said insufficient memory after 0% - 1% flashed for a while. then i thoght i set it for fat32. but i must not have. Ithoght windows would correct it after it loaded. but it must be on too basic level for that. thanx, jer
