I think i have a heart disorder

Note this usually only happens when i sleep.

So im just going to sleep and all of a sudden i lose sense of my body. I basically go numb. And then i check my pulse and for about a second and a half my heart stops pumping, and begins its pumping.

WTF is it?

This actually sounds more like sleep paralysis or hypnagogic hallucinations:

I experience the same thing almost every day, but mine is associated with narcolepsy. It can happen to those suffering from sleep apnea, too, The uncomfortable changes in your heart beat would not be inconsistent with the body's response to oxygen levels in your blood going too low during sleep apnea.
