i think i accidentally took two multivitamins instead of one

Nope you cannot die, depending on your multi, I am betting you can take 4 and you are still fine..

BWT viatamin C as someone said was the most safe, is actually the worst, it can actually cause serious problems...

anyway how do i know this? I am a supplemnet freak lol...I run and lift regularily and I always go on cycles of different supplements, I probably take more viataminsin one day then you take in two lol :)

I wake up, have a cup of coffee then wait 30 minutes
5g of Lglutamine
meal of cereal and a powerbar with one multiviatamin(mostly of antioxidtans and enzymes with the other essentials), 1000mg of of C, and 1g of flax seed oil
5g of creatine half hour before lunch, meal
powerbar before lifting
lift
5g of creatine ethly ester
30 minutes later 30g protein pure whey protein isolate
meal
small meal 3 hours later taken with 1000mg of C, 2g of flax seed oil, 1g of other mixed Omega3's with different fatty acids(linoleic oneleic etc)
Before bed 30g protein shake(with mixed amino acids), 5g of AKGglutamine, 1500mg of calcium, 750mg of Magnesium, 45mg of zinc

on running days I do the same but also mix in a b complex with my afterrunning meal

my meals are usually high carb high fat high protein meals...usually pasta and chicken, homemade pizza, suasage casarole etc...but all healthy, no fast foods etc blachh, I also drink a ton of water, only ionized though (I have a water ionizer hooked up to my sink)...

because it is the winter I am going relatively ligh on this cycle...its mostly for gaining some more weight before I go into my more intense power lifting cycle in the spring and summer

I get my blood tested every 6 months or so by this local sports lab which is very effective at telling what minerals an micronutrients I may be deficient in

I also mix my creatine with double the amount of powder gatorade...glycogen loading before and after workouts is very effective

I had thought caffeine (in your coffee) prevented creatine from being effective - is this not the case?

that was one study, and that study involved taking caffeine as a supplement (more than 300mg spaced throughout each day), a cup of coffee has about 45mg, and also is out of your system within a few hours, and by that I mean not in your blood stream to interfere with creatine absorbtion

there are still many lifters and sports nutritionists that believe that it does not effect the absorbtion of creatine...but in any case caffeien is a duerititive meaning it pulls water from the muscles and into the orgrans, creatine does the opposite...if enough water is taken and the caffiene aomunt is not that great there should be no effect

there are some new studies saying that it only effects phosphogen creatine(which no one uses anymore anyway)

either way a cup is not going to kill you, not to mention It doesnt effect the time i take the creatine

Yes...you can. When I worked in an ER we'd have kids come in all the time after they ate a whole bottle of Flintstone's vitamins.

Vitamin A overdose can cause nausea, peeling skin, hair loss, liver damage, and vision impairment.

Vitamin B (specifically B6 I believe) can cause nervous system damage and problems with muscular control.

C is pretty safe, and you would need so much D to overdose that it's not a threat (like 100-150 times the recommended amount).

Overdosing on iron will cause problems with wound healing.

So, how does one treat a Flinstones vitamin overdose? Um, just in case.

If it's a high enough does, I think they gave them syrup of ipecac. Not sure, I was just a radiographer (the guy that would take pics of things jammed up people's colons :) )

How on earth would you consume ~200 grams of vitamin C? No humanly possible amount (a few dozen grams tops) will cause you any damage.
Of course, consuming a large, unbalanced amount of vitamins can cause issues, but C is extremely hard to overdose (like vitamin E).

Of course, consuming a large, unbalanced amount of vitamins can cause issues, but C is extremely hard to overdose (like vitamin E).

did I say hard to overdosed? no, I said when OD'ed it causes the worst problems...learn english

Yes you certainly can.

For most vitamins, like Vitamin C, youre just going to piss it out if you take too much, NP. They're certain vitamins that you can overdose on though, i believe iron is one of them.

yes you will die, eventually. but not from this.

if all you did was take the pill alone, chances are your body is not going to absorb it all. supplements are like that. if you take the pill alone, much of it will pass through (albeit desolved), and not get absorbed. if you eat it with food, the pill stays in your body longer, and more of it gets absorbed.

depending on what multivitamin you took, i suggest drinking 1 glass more than your recommended 8 glasses of water since those pills tend to leave you more dehydrated if you dont drink enough water in the first place.
