It's not only by hits or searches it's by money you fool. You pay more to have your product or company at the top of the list.

It's called Google Adwords. How do you think Google makes money? You "bid" on certain search terms, and whoever pays more, goes to the top of the search results..

As a matter of fact, Google just settled a 7 million dollar class action suit regarding fake clicks..

Adwords are only for Google's ads. They don't sell search result placement(unless you want to claim the top "banner" is placement).

What are you, stoned? You searched for "DAP" and the first result was dap.com, the website for a huge sealant company called DAP, instead of the website for a product who's initials are "D.A.P"...a term I have NEVER heard anyone use to refer to that product. Seriously...
