I think everyone can agree when I say "govt knows stuff that WE DON'T"

This thought occured to me after watching T3. It is without a doubt govt has a firm grasp on flow of information....

secret weapon research...
AI development...
politically sensitive facts.. ex) they know who killed JFK?
even aliens?

All in all, I think everyone can agree when I say govt knows stuff that doesn't want to be known.

Do you think anybody here actually has the answers?

Even if they did, do you think they would tell us? 😛

What is your point? I don't think the government should tell us everything. The average Joe does not need to know about secret weapons development and the like.

And yet, when someone comes up with a plausible theory concerning any of the above, many of these same people will be the first to dismiss it. It baffles me.

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

The problem is most of it is just sh!t you conspiracy theorists pull out of your ass. I could sit here and make some plausible explanations of the topics above until I turn blue in the face, but does that mean we should seriously consider them? I'm open to new ideas, and I have no doubt in my mind that the government has boatloads of secrets locked away, but until shown evidence (other than what eye witnesses "claim" to have seen, i.e. space aliens) none of these theories mean anything.

I should sure as hell hope so. I spend on average ZERO hours per month on intelligence gathering duties for National Security and spend an average of ZERO dollars. I spend an average of ZERO hours per month doing research and developing next generation military technologies, or doing law enforcement investigations like busting organized crime. I sure as hell hope the government knows stuff that I don't or my tax money is going for absolutely nothing.

I mean, I think my tax dollars are mostly going for nothing now, but that little bit of hope that some of it is doing something useful makes me keep paying taxes. If I truly thought the government doesn't know anything I don't, I do believe I would just stop paying taxes altogether.

A great many things you do not know, you REALLY don't want to know.
Is it because if they knew, they'd have to kill them? 😀

It may have been used in that movie, but it's been around for a lot longer than that!

😉

Exactly trust no one. Thats always the key. Duh. If no one knew that then thats to funny. You don't even suppose to trust your spouse.

You conspiracy theorists? WTF makes you think you know anything about me?
