That really has nothing to do with being evangelical. The real question is how someone who seems somewhat intelligent can be an evangelical creationist.

Also, who said they were true Christians? Many people have waged war and killed innocents in the name of religion without representing what the values of that religion truly were (aka crusades, islamic radical, etc).

It's kinda like being an arrogant jerk like Matt Hughes and "giving the glory to God." His arrogance does not represent the religion, nor the type of people who are a part of it. Just an example 😛
