I don't see how they should build another building over it. I think a special park with a marble wall of victims's names on it.

I think that would be more ideal.

We need to show that we'll never forget through a park like that.

I think a park to honor the victims is a good idea, but the NYC skyline will never be the same with that big gaping hole. That's a reminder itself what happened yesterday :(

Nice thought, but the real estate is way too valuable. Rebuilding is a must.

And rebuilding it would be like a sign that we will always prevail against anyone trying to destroy us.

I think they should rebuild it. Of course they'll do something on the site to remember the victims, but it would make a statement if they rebuilt it...

If they rebuild the world trade center they might as well put a huge Bullseye on it.

The original oen was supposedly able to stand up to a 707. So they may rebuild it and build it much better than it was before.

and if it got blown up again they should rebuild it again. you cannot suppress the american people with terorrist acts. we do not lie down and say enough have died,.we were born out of war and its on our very nature to fight. not rebuilding it is admitting defeat.

Good one Nutxo,

I think they should rebuild the towers with a section of it dedicated to the people that lost their lives. It also shows the terrorists that no matter what you blow up or knock down we will rebuild it. You will not and can not defeat us with your cowardness acts.

I disagree, I think rebuilding the WTC bigger and better will show the strength of America's will and resolve. What would be more frustrating for those who sought to bring down the building to only see the buildings be resurrected in grander fashion? I agree that a memorial should also be put in place to commemorate those lives that have been lost in this tradgedy.

If we do not rebuild than, Usama Bin Laden (If he commmanded these acts) would have gotten his way. Ever since the first bombing of the WTC he wanted to bring both buildings down, we cannot let him win.

I say we rebuild the WTC and in typical American fashion make them the largest most technologically advanced buildings in the world. We don't physically need a middle finger, they will stand as a symbol of American prosperity and capitolism.

The should be rebuilt with a monument in the lobby of each new building with the names of all those lost in this.

should be rebuilt and made taller... the tallest building is not in the US anymore.. and all employees should be given parachutes, so they can jump out.

Research has probably started not only in the US but in every civilized country for ways of preventing further attacks like these. Not sure what kind of defense a building can have against such an attack but the challenges will be overcome.

Sounds strange...but not a bad idea in a structure of this size. It would have saved a lot of lives

nutxo hit it exactly. Rebuilding it was be a slap in the face of terrorism. We should definitely rebuild, and if we do, bigger and better than before. Make it the largest building in the US.
