Diet Dr. Pepper, Coke Zero, and Pepsi One have allowed me to switch. I don't like the taste of diet coke or diet pepsi, but the others mentioned taste a lot like their non-diet equivalents.

It's not too bad once you get used to it. I actually don't like non-diet soft drinks, they're *too* sweet for my tastes.

What's the difference between Coke Zero / Pepsi One and Diet Coke / Diet Pepsi?

Did you actually see any difference in your life? Some studies have been showing that people that switch from regular to diet tend to GAIN weight. Why? Because they train themselves to crave sweets, but the diet Pepsi/Coke don't satisfy the cravings and then they eat desert or something unhealthy to truely satisfy the cravings. This effect is possible to overcome with willpower, of course, but not many people have sufficient willpower.

I drink ass-juice because it's made by the same company that makes this really good drink I like. The ass-juice tastes like ass, but the weird carcinogenic chemicals in it are offset by the fact that it doesn't have any calories. Yes, I'm a rational, intelligent individual- why do you ask?

For me, I did the really difficult move and switched from Coke/Pepsi to water. Sure, I occasionally miss it. But, I don't crave those sweet drinks much any more. It took about two months to really adjust.
That said, have you tried Fresca? I drank that stuff for years and only recently found out it was diet. They don't mark it as diet anywhere, and I never bothered to look at the nutrition label on Fresca. It sure doesn't taste diet.
