Yes he is, and his IQ articles remain the best you will find on line period.
+1. bfg10k really puts a lot of effort into his articles, and it shows.

Do you have every update. I am going to guess you are on Vista and that you do not have the service packs. I had the same issue.
In response to someone stating about the system going to 30 fps if it lacks 60, that is called vsync.
In response to more jaggies I would guess that you are using a different resolution - otherwise there is not much difference in the rendering quality of either company until AA and AF is applied - which they do very differently. Make sure you are using your monitors recommended resolution.
Hope that helps.

I have a fully patched Win7 Ultimate X64![]()
Same resolution as before, but when I select AA either in the game or in the CCC, it just doesn't do anything. Same 1680x1050 res as I ran with the GTS 250.
OP, you're not alone. I recently went from a GTS250 to a 5770, and although I love the performance of the 5770, some games just look jaggier. I can't even get AA working on BF2Ah well I don't game that much anyway.
There is definitely an image quality difference: JAGGIES. When playing Quake Wars: Enemy Territory I never really felt the need to turn on AA with the 9800GT. With the 4850? It was the first thing I thought off-- "wow that looks bad".
