I wonder if cheers are like apple seeds, and if they grow up to give ripe cheers in a few years. Hmm... Maybe then I can make Cheer cider. I imagine it to be like regular cider, only with more cheers. Bottoms up, then.

n0c - We were just in/around Manassas today when we dropped off my dad and step-mother at Dulles. We were going to stop in Manassas, but traffic was so bad we decided to take 29 most of the way home.

Traffic in the area sucks, that's why I don't make it back there as often as I'd like. That, and this crappy shift I work. 😛
 
We're rarely in Manassas any more. We used to go there just to go to Olive Garden, but since buying a house, more important things come first. 🙁 lol (Such is the life of an adult.) Rallispec lives in Manassas and I've been wanting to meet up with him for a long time, but haven't done it yet.

My dear fellow, there is a certain matter here I want to address that concerns a most egregious effacement of prudent and logical inference resulting from the interpretation of words. Let us examine the matter more closely.

First, let us examine the unequivocal evidence Nik presents. I believe he makes a simple statement effecting an opinion that the following statements were factual:

1) There was a past period of time.
2) members existed and posted in this time
3) Member posting contributed to a liked atmosphere
4) Such members as heretofore mentioned no longer post
5) Ergo, and I believe this point to be the brunt of his overall statement: at present, the milieu and atmosphere of OT is unlike that which it has been in the past.


Now, nowhere in these assesments has it been opined or stated that there were other factors leading to a change of atmosphere. Although, taking the nature of inference and the bifurcative idea of "or" logic in attaching other concepts to an existing one, one could say that while it is true that past posts contributed positively, new posts may have contributed negatively. Moreover, one could say that new posts by people left from a past period of time have contributed negatively.

I daresay... haven't you been around for some time?

Why then, by your own reasoning, you have led to the downfall of ATOT!!!! The heinous crime rests trapezoidally on your shoulders. For. Shame.

You understand, I think, that you must offer sacrifice to the PICS! gods as atonement.

lol @ linuxboy. You've GOT to make time for AT more often. You're way too entertaining. Besides, I'm accused of being a grammar nazi. I have an acute fondness for the art of English and do believe that you possess and exercise a very well-rounded grasp on afore mensioned art. You're the first in quite a long time that I've actually taken the time to read a post over again to see what I missed and to see what elloquent lessons are contained within!
