check for a small pebble in the cap for your tire plug...seriously, its an old trick people use. You'll get tires changed, and nobody can figure out why the tires are deflating...it's a very slow process.

That BS goes on here SF as well. Last time it was a bunch of gang types that poped tires on every car/truck they saw parked near a local college..

do you have any idea why someone would be looking to slash your tires? do you think it was just a random thing?

I'm not quite sure, were your tires "slashed" or, did they "mysteriously deflate"? Cuz it sounds like you've called it both ways.....if it's slashing, then that just sucks, I hope you find the mofo and beat him silly. BUT, if it just deflated, I agree with Gulzaker.....check the plug, make sure it's okay, and see if you can push it in/pull it out....reason I say this, is that a few weeks ago, after coming home from college for the weekend, one of the tires on our Blazer just went flat in the middle of the evening. So, I took it to Discount Tire (they'll check it for free!), and the guy put it in a dunk tank after he filled it back up, and there was no leak anywhere. Therefore, it wasn't a needle or a slash or a nail.....he said that someone had pushed in/pulled out (don't remember, sorry) the plug. It might've happened accidentally, or purposely, it's hard to say. (We live in a good city, in a good neighborhood, but it might've been done when the car was at college)

Either way, sorry about your situation, hope you figure it out.

Damn that's never a good thing, luckily I've never had the privilege of having my tires slashed...

Only had my tire slashed once, this was when my wife and I were staying at a weekly studio in Phoenix. The slash was obvious..3/4 inch long hole where on the sidewall.

Is it legal to catch them in the act and beat them unconscious with a baseball bat and then sell their body on the corner for big men named Bruno to use and abuse?

This is the second time a set of tires have "mysteriously" deflated at my house's driveway. First my roommate's girlfriend, and now mine. Thing is they were in two completely different parts of our driveway/lot, which has ZERO glass or other sharp objects littered on the ground.

GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

It's possible that they just let the air out w/o puncturing the tires. If they did that then it's not nearly as malicious and more likely just a prankster.
