Not gonna click your link coz I think I know exactly what kind of crap will be in it, but generally speaking, when people complain about being called racist the reason they've been called racist is because they've made sweeping degrading statements about large groups of people as if they are one monolithic structure, and what is being said applies to all of them. ("Mexicans are lazy, stupid, smelly, deal drugs and wear big hats.")

Rarely do you find a racist who does not succumb to the sweeping statements fallacy.

But surprise me... Show that you're not one of them. :D

Not only do you fail to realize Islam isn't a race, not only do you fail to watch the video and make a broad generalization that you people who call racism hate, you fail to say anything of worth that even shows either the OP (who isn't even the guy in the video) or the guy in the video are "racist" as you claim.

The guy in the video is dead on. I agree with him 100%.

It is interesting how we never learn from history. The same excuses being made for Islam were made for other radical movements in the 20th century like Communism and National Socialism. Eventually we all learned their true colors after a shitstorm was created.

Good. We can target taking out all three of them, as well as the Black Panthers and the other groups.

I know. Isn't it terrible! We should just exterminate people from the lower classes before they fail in school and commit crimes. Why fucking wait to see the colors we know they will show. No fanatical monster would wait. And we know those colors well. They're as close to us as our own nose.

While I really like Pat Condell, just as much as listening to the Amazing Atheist on you tube. I don't really agree with this vid very much.

Firstly even tho I consider myself to be an Atheist I could care less where they build the Mosque. Well, as long as they build it FAR FAR away from me! :) Anyway, maybe if they do build it next to 9/11 site they won't fly another airplane into the next tower or bomb it. You know, kinda like erecting a tiki to ward off the evil gods.

Oh well...

I don't agree. Those towers were taken down by radical Muslims and in it's place a symbol of Islam is erected? Fuck that.

I did click through but didn't watch the entire clip. The speaker is cautioning about accepting an enemy, and an enemy's anti-democratic, anti-liberal and anti-Enlightenment values, into our midst.

Europe has opened their societies to Islamic fundamentalism through an open borders policy and a high level of tolerance.

Many countries in Europe are now threatened by those who, while wholly rejecting European liberalism, have taken advantage of that liberalism to establish their anti-secular Islamic power base.

His argument is that America is no less vulnerable. His example is the move to build a huge mosque on the site of the World Trade Center attack by fanatical Islamicists. In effect, building a monument to the cause that inspired and motivated the attacks.

Even the name of the mosque will reflect the glory of Islam's domination over Western civilization.

While the significance of this will be celebrated throughout all the nations of Islam, people here are blindly ignorant of the enemy they have invited within.

Racism is not the right word for a clash to the death between radical Islamic theocracy and Judeo-Christian/secular liberalism.

The mosque is not literally at ground zero, but rather somewhere nearby. That said, I don't care for the symbolism of it either.

Hey, I didn't say I agree with it. I just don't agree with the video. I think it's a slap in the face. Tho, sadly, our government could care less what we think these days. Since when do politicians care what the voters think? If they get paid enough they will vote for anything.

hmmm... interesting ground to traipse across...

so, this being america, if they can get a permit they can't build because of someone's sensibilities? why would you let them build anywhere, then?

this is one of those places where some liberals seem to trip up a bit... us haters are at least consistent...

to me it's like the burning the flag thing... if the flag could talk it would say "go ahead, this is what i'm all about"... now i think that the flag is wrong, and we should probably protect it against it's more naive tendencies, but the law says torch it up at your leisure...

if you aren't going to outlaw them entirely, you have to let them make you the bitch sometimes... it's supposed to be what makes us better than them, isn't it?

Hmmmm....I agree with Red on this.

It just seems to validate what the terrorists did on 9/11. By taking down those towers and erecting a mosque in their place.

On the flip side?

Can you think of a worse place in AMERICA to go worship once it is open for business!? I wouldn't step foot in there for fear of another airplane dropping on top of me at any moment.

That's right. No churches should be allowed to be built near where the abortion doc was shot either.

If anything, these terrorists have taught us to be intolerant of all whether or no the people creating the building have anything to do with crime.

White man kills someone? No white man should be able to build withing 10 square miles.

why are there so many morons like you on this board? what does being white or brown or anything have to do with building a religious symbol/building where a fanatical sect of said religion caused mayhem and destruction?
