I suggest you read this before going with Crossfire

I think the first post needs to be editing showing that xibit simply screwed up in their testing. As every other review side (including AT) has shown working crossfire in those games.

The strange thing is some of them are contradicting each other,AMD should really step on to clear up this mess.

Xfire definitely works in those games great. I play bf3 constantly and it definitely gets great crossfire gpu usage at all times. Crysis 2 works great as well. What those websites did to mess things up, i'm not sure, perhaps what virge said is correct - AMD doesn't offer much assistance to websites with configuration errors.

Well let's be clear here. While AMD not offering assistance is the reason it's not being fixed sooner, most of these sites are operated by very smart people; certainly one shouldn't need a Ph.D to setup CF. I still believe CF has some bugs manifesting as the inconsistent results we're seeing that need to be worked out.

Hard to believe sickbeast would post anything negative about AMD. {insert sarcasm emoticon} I should have read who the author was before I bothered to open the thread.

SB is not biased at all.If u cared to notice he had just bought himself a 7850.He thought this was worth reporting.Xfire definitely has issues.many review sites have repeatedly pointed this out.

Well Sickbeast,

looks like you were partially right.

Crossfire is a no go for my 7850's using 12.3, 12.4 and 12.5 Beta.

Had to resort to 12.2 Beta (I believe, whatever original 7850 supported drivers were)

I emailed AMD and Tweeted them about this, no response so far.

Cards have been out for what, 6 weeks or more? and I can't Crossfire them using WHQL drivers at all without constant system reboots/crashing with everything @ 100% stock.

Seems from my limited research, its only the 7800 series this is effecting.
