so i used to hate anime, at least the annoying type where the mouths would be all weird and big and not synched with speech, and characters are always flying with those ugly backgrounds that make it seem like they're flying really fast. know what i mean?

but i liked animatrix, and one of my friends was like you should just TRY out this anime.

so i watched "spirited away" and WOW, i LOVED It!

any other anime i may like, spirited-away like? not the old school 2 frames/second kind!!

anything by Hayao Miyazaki, who did Spirited Away.

Mononoke Hime, My Neighbor Totoro, etc. etc.

I liked castle in the sky (aka laputa) better than spirited away or kiki's delivery service. I also liked the evangelion series, but I haven't seen much else besides those. cowboy bebop has been recommended to me a few times.

Yeah, nothing wrong with watching anime, just don't become all crazy about it. (I had a friend that became #1, and then haven't talked to her in a while now. )

Evangelion hurts my head. The Vision of Escaflowne is a good series.

The former is one of my favorite, the latter is VERY good as well, the movie they tried to follow up with shames the series.....

cool congrats. I liked .hack//SIGN its a little slow getting into it but its a good story. Hellsing is good, Naruto is good but goes into sooo much detail, One Piece is really funny and good its about pirates. There are tonnes of good animes out there. Rurouni Kenshin is good, and you would probably like Berserk. Go to www.animenfo.com they have a lot of good info and all the shows have been reviewed by hardcore anime fans. Cowboy bebop and trigun are also favorites, as well as Escaflowne and Nadesico. PM me if you want more info.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the best anime series of all-time and anyone who says differently is a fool. Cowboy Bebop was good, Berserk was good, Serial Experiments Lain was good, Initial D was good, Escaflowne was good, Rurouni Kenshin was good, and about a billion other anime series were *good*. Nothing compares to Eva. Eva is the BEST. ANIME. EVAR!!!!!!

The Kenshin OVAs Trust and Betrayal are my favorite animes. not much like spirited away, but good.

Tell me why you think it's the best anime series of all-time, please. NGE is good, but to call it the "best anime series of all-time" is pushing it.

i remeber when my friend introduced me to this adult anime. not because I wanted to see it, but she tricked me. i forget what its called. well, if youre not over 21, dont check it out. its not for you. its a bit disturbing what they can come up with, with color pencils.
