Freecell was my favorite time waster until I got Vista. The freeecell interface on Vista just seems clunky and frustrates me. I could never find a setting to get it back to normal. Since I went back to regular Solitare on Vista, out of 887 games I have a 32% win ratio (288 games.)

I started playing solitaire last year. According to Vista's stats, my longest losing streak is 49 games, which I think is pretty damn long.
Also says I have played 1125 games with a winning percentage of 15%, with a high score of 5135

49 wins in a row? That seems a little impossible to me. BTW you have too much time on your hands (as do I) :)

Losing streak is up to 16 now. I gotta win one soon.

49 losses in a row.

Ah, durrrr. I missed that.

Anyways, on a 22 game losing streak now. What surprises me about it is when I was just starting to play solitaire I would win every other game, I just figured that was pretty standard.

That was back in XP though. So far in vista I'm like 1 for 36 :p. I don't like it when the game tells me I lost either, I want to figure it out for myself when there aren't any moves left.

I had a similar experience- when I started playing solitaire (started on vista) it seemed like I was winning maybe 1 out of 3 or 4 games, but it didn't last. And personally I like that it tells me I can't make any more moves so that I'm not wasting time trying to solve the unsolvable (and it's helpful for a newbie- there were times I thought all moves were used up but then I would start pulling back cards that were already 'cleared' so I could make more moves). BTW, I also play the Windows Mobile version of solitaire and it seems MUCH more difficult to win. I don't know if it's the small scale factor that makes things more difficult to see or what but I keep getting owned. That version BTW doesn't tell you when you've met your maker
