For your present situation, use vinegar to get rid of smell quickly. Try using baking soda as a deodorant (rub on with damp cloth).

my friend is paranoid of using spray deodorant. instead he uses lemons! just cut it in half and squeeze until it starts to juice, then smear it over your armpits! he swears by it. i suppose it works cos i never noticed he smelt bad...

Geeze...everything causes everything today. Just use deodorant...you're not going to get Alzheimers.

I tried this too because normal anti-perspirant makes my armpits itch but when using the "hippy" stuff I'd stick by the end of the day so now I'm back on the anti-perspirant.

My armpits don't sweat like....at all, even when I'm running or playing sports. The rest of me will sweat, but not my armpits. I'm strange.

I still wear deodorant cuz I feel its "what you do", but...yea, no sweat ever.

I use Old Spice RED ZONE and I've never had the itchy pit problem while using it the last almost 6 years. And I've never created a stink even after a long bike ride with this stuff either. Considering I am sweat profusely and without Deodorant I stink within an hour after a shower, I think this stuff works pretty damned well. It does however contain Alu for u paranoid folks.

Personally I'd worry more about tripign over a tiny peble while walking and falling to the ground and cracking my skull open splattering my brains all over the place over getting cancer from fn deodorant.

Don't worry. It's ok because it is "natural". Science is bad! lol

I hope you are not at work or in a classroom.

i stopped using aluminum zirconium ten years ago, i just use "deodorant" not "anti perspirant"

my problem was it made my pits like dry deserts and i pretty much quit sweating. i think it is part of old man syndrome

Jules, have you tried using just "deodorant" and not "antiperspirant-deodorant". they make both kinds. i know someone sensitive to the combination of the two, but not sensitive to it if he just uses plain deodorant.
