I still haven't got the Time Warner speed increase

A lot of the nation has already got it. I am in a certain part of the south and I still have not gotten it

Just contacted Road Runner and they dont know when they'll do it. Time Warner said in December that NYC will be the first to get it, in December and that rest of the nation will get it in January.

I want the 5 mbps!!!


What kind of broadband do you guys have?

Comcast. I don't think they've done the upgrade to 4 mbps down, 384 up here in Central California.

We have the premium 6MB roadrunner... its an extra 70 dollars a month this what you talking about?

We have the premium 6MB roadrunner... its an extra 70 dollars a month this what you talking about?

no actually they increased the regular Road Runner/Earthlink's speed from 3 mbps to 5 mbps.

And Roadrunner Premium customers will be increased from 6MB to 8MB.

What kind of broadband do you guys have?

Cox.net...They offer 5 Meg service for more money but I haven't jumped on it. I get medium to high 4 megs when testing on Speak Easy. Of course that's only after they bumped up the speed after lowering it a couple of years ago when boat loads of people were signing up and overtaxing the system.

I not sure if the extra money for the slight increase would be worth it.--maybe someone with 5mbps service could post their results off of Speak Easy.
