I still have my Samsung 955DF...

And it works great. I haven't had any issues with it, and I'm a heavy gamer. With the newer and ever cheapening LCDs for gaming (ala the Dell 2001FP), is it worth spending that cash to get the LCD over having what I have now? I have *no* problem with space, and I could easily accomodate a 21" CRT in my workspace. The thing about my monitor is though, that when I play games like Quake3 (yea, i still love it!) for extended periods of time, I tend to get slight headaches.. I have heard LCDs are better with eye fatigue and last longer (???) as wel.

Anyhoo... I just need to weigh the pros/cons of getting a new monitor. Either I buy the monitor, or I get myself the new iRiver MP3 player 🙂

This money is burning a hole in my pocket... I'm not good at saving 🙂

Did you adjust the monitor settings optimally? Poorly configured monitors can cause severe eyestrain and headaches.

What 'configuration' can I do to it to make it appear nicer?
