Hey, that's the stuff I tried. I didn't put on any weight that I noticed (not working out). Isn't it just a protein mix, and not like the 'weight gainers'?

Well it seems to be a good mixture between a weight gainer and a protein mix. It has a lot more protrein than many weight gainers but doesn't have near the calories or carbs as weight gainers but has a lot more carbs than straight protein mixes. In other words for someone like me who is trying to bulk up and gain muscle it worked well, I had to cut back after 3 weeks or so b/c I was getting weight where I didn't want it (gut) as well as everywhere else. You have to think of what your goals are and go from there. That being said if you want to just bulk up and are as worried about being defined, lift heavy and DO NOT do cardio. By doing cardio you are burning up those calories you need to gain weight. If you are worried about getting fat then by all means do cardio.

I normally mix Met-Rx with Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. 50/50. It provides the perfect balance of nutrients, proteins, fats, carbs.
