Is the nausea a treatable level, like does Emetrol work at all? Oh GB hang in there. I'm glad you're doing it in the summer, you don't want to add winter misery and being cold to the list of what you are already dealing with.

I eagerly await news of your impending victory.

Round 10 done! I get the weekend off & back to radiation treatment on Monday

-Damn, they really slam this stuff into your system eh? I only have tangential experience with cancer and for some reason always through the treatment process was spread out over a year.

Had round 9 day, I made myself eat before radiation and the nausea is somewhat better, ate a small supper too when I got home
One time right after getting radiation my mom was telling the doc that maybe she was having a side effect from it because her stomach was feeling weird but then I mentioned to the doctor that she had eaten about 20 of those little Hershey bars she was handing out to kids the night before for Halloween. So we all had a good laugh and figured that was the obvious culprit. Is loss of appetite typical with radiation? Last time she needed a course of radiation when I'd take her in for it about half the time after she'd want to stop at the Taco Cabana right by for a plate of flautas. Though she has never had to take chemo. She told me her biggest side effect other than having a spot on her boob from where the beam was aimed I guess was she doesn't grow armpit hair any more on that side.

My appetite varies…sometimes I have no interest in eating,Other times I’m focused on specific foods, last night I had 2 grilled cheese sandwiches 🥪 & they were delicious

I wish I'd seen this earlier. Zofran/ondansetron is a great anti-emetic med. It's strongest point is that last I checked, it has no interactions with any other drugs.

You probably know this, but your mood and outlook are almost as important as the treatments. So do all of the things that make you smile and feel joy . . . . and keep doing them.

Get a prescription from your doctor for "fun." Go jollificate yourself. ;)
