:) i stained my cabinet today...

it's kinda about the size of an end table, that was designed specifically for chess. that means it has a chess board inlaid, 2 drawers (1 on each side), and a big open space covered by doors on both ends for other games. the drawers are for chess pieces.


it looks AWESOME 😀

it is made with mostly solid walnut, and some walnut plywood, and some maple on the chessboard, and some birch for the drawers. i stained it natural. i must say, the stain went perfectly 🙂 even the plywood, which in my experience took too much stain, took just the right amount. it looks awesome. it's drying at the shop right now, i'll bring in my digicam tomorrow and snap some pics of it to show you all 🙂


i cant get over how good it looks. the natural stain really brought out the beauty of the grain. 🙂 it looks better than i ever expected. 🙂

im sorry, the closest you're gonna get to a hot babe is the super fugly lesbian chick... and she's only in the stain room cause there's open containers of laquer, and... she's a druggie. what's worse, is she's so fugly, and her girlfriend is so fugly, and she doesnt shut up about being a lesbian. it's annoying...

the second closest you'll come is my friend... he seems kinda swishy, but he aint gay. lol. but he do have a honkey afro... or maybe i should call it a crackerfro 😛

oh, and i spent over 130 on wood alone for this cabinet.

im gonna be spending another 100 in hardware, at least. and then 300 on a chess set... probably.
