Apparently, those shortcuts in the top left column of the new XP style Start Menu aren't regular shortcuts. I moved my WordWeb (a dictionary program) installation to another folder and the shortcut in the start menu stopped working.
I right clicked on it, went to properties, and clicked the Change button. I thought I could just point it to the new location.
The change button, however, actually let me associate a program to load .exe files.... So now ALL of my .exe files "Open With" Word Web.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
EDIT: Fixed it!
I reassociated .exe files with the Windows System Restore program. Then I ran an executable so System Restore would load up (I couldn't load it before because Word Web would come up). I had an image from 2AM this morning and I restored. I love System Restore now.
