I just saw a Porsche Carrera GT, a Maserati MC12 and a yellow Ferrari F430.

I see some interesting cars around here from time to time.

The Maserati may be this exact car in fact.

I really like that maserati, but iirc it's extremely rare. I've seen the carrera gt once parked at someone's house in my town, which was a real wtf moment because that car is so far out of anyone's price range around here. There's also one at the porsche dealer too, but that doesn't really count.

Just went back and talked with the guys for a few minutes. It's definitely the MC12. I guess the guy who owns it paid $1.2 million for it. He did a nice smokey donut in it as he left, so did the guy with the Porsche Carrera GT (man, that car is loud). :laugh:

Now there's a yellow Lambo Gallardo Superleggera parked there too.

Yep, saw an MC12 around the holidays sitting in rush hour traffic. Also, pretty sure I saw what was a disguised GT-R sitting in traffic last month. I love living in LA. Friends have spotted a Veyron or two....and I do recall seeing an Enzo before as well.

But, coolest car I've come across is a F40. Followed it up a canyon road. The sound was simply incredible.

You should have heard these cars. The Carrera GT was the loudest and sounded like a racing car, he must have done a custom exhaust (it was super loud). The car was black with black wheels and looked sick. He was taking people for rides around and reving it up a bit. When they left the guy with the Ferrari screamed off down the street hitting the rev limiter in 1st and 2nd gear. I just love the wail of a Ferrari engine. :heart:

According the Wikipedia there are only 55 of those Maseratis on the entire planet.

There's a lambo dealer around by me too. They've always got a nice selection of exotics to see . It's kind of funny though because it's located on this extremely shitty road so you just know half the cars are bottoming out just getting out of the driveway and around the potholes.

Oddly enough, I saw an MC12 when I was working a gig at the Detroit MGM Grand...it was the VIP party hosted by AmEx Black, during the Detroit Auto Show's press week. Raining all day and night and yet I saw a Maserati MC12 just parked at the end of the valet, soaking in the rain. Saw plenty of Bentley's that night, along with a few Lambo's, Porsches and Ferraris.

there's an exotic car dealership 10 miles from my place. they had a saleen s7, veyron, murcielago, some other stuff. no carrera gt though!! i want to see that car BADLY.

This place is two miles from me.

Go to Used Ferrari and then Ferrari approved. They leave some of these cars out over night, so there are roughly 20-30 Ferrari's of all types out on display! They also have other exotics, but concentrate on Ferrari and Maserati.

Seen F40 & F50 drive past my office in Egham. You rarely see these cars, let alone see them being driven.
