good luck trying to pull that in vista. it seems every damn street corner has a red-light camera (i think we have 5-6 altogether). that seems to really help the problem. but you are right, midday in mira mesa, or even after 5, its so backed up that you see people doing that a lot. in fact, it happened to my friend a few days ago, heck, he was already in the intersection. the really funny part? the guy who ran that light had a cop driving behind him. the cop just watched him run it, pulled up to the line, and sat there. didnt do anything. :sigh;

Cameras man. They do the trick here in Sacramento. The busiest intersections get cleared even when there's traffic and the only ones that run it certainly are new to the intersection, because everyone else slams on their brakes when it turns yellow. You can't be too sure how long the yellow will last, so it's better safe than sorry.

And ANOTHER thing. My green light turns red because some guy on a bike decides to ignore his red and cuts in cross of me.
