I seem to have lost my WoW disks...

Currently I dont have an active account and I'm wondering if I buy a new copy will I be able to log into my old account?

you can log into your old account if you buy a new copy. Hell, I lost my disks and just downloaded another set. Installed and started playing again. Go borrow from a friend or something.

Can't you get the .exe from somebody and just redownload the entire thing? Almost all MMOs i know allows you to do that.

The .exe is the client launcher. Opening that, should allow you to download the entire game. Well, that's been my experience with like practically every other MMO. I don't see why WoW would be any different.

Or just go to fileplanet and download the trial. You should be able to download the rest with it as well.

WoW is HUGE, though... It comes on 4 CD's. I doubt that you would want to download that.
