I see a bird i see a plane Who Are Microsoft Beta Testers?

Microsoft is already wasting enough money promoting Office XP, four versions of Windows XP, and the XBox. They just renamed Windows XP Server to Windows 2002 to Windows.Net. In the meanwhile, they are getting upper management to make unflattering comments about the GPL, in an effort to distract the Free Software and Open Source communities while Microsoft tries to monopolize the newly-emerging networked services and authentication markets. In line with this initiative, Microsoft is pimping Visual Studio.Net and trying to rally developers to build software and services on top of the .Net infrastructure.

In other words, Microsoft is already juggling far too many balls, and it's safe to say that they won't be making any other major product announcements in a while.

I did beta test WinME and they moved me to WindowsUpdate beta after release. So, I get WindowsUpdate stuff a week or two early.

If I was more active, I probably would have been pulled into Office XP and WinXP.

I saw something about MS Producer today.
