I screwed up.

I just got my first WC loop set up, leak tested it all night, everything is great... then I realize that I have connected the pump's output to the specified outlet of the CPU waterblock (Apogee XT) instead of the inlet.

Do you think this is going to make a huge difference? Do I need to drain the whole thing and start over? If so, can anyone advise me on a relatively simple method of doing this without spilling water everywhere?

Best to fix it. As far as how without spilling water....Hmm

Maybe post some photos? Might be possible to do with minimal leakage.

I can in a few hours, not at home right now.

aaargh. Spent so much time researching and setting up, and I overlook one stupid detail :/

Cool....Just so many variables that it's hard to suggest without seeing what one has to work with.

System in sig? My sig on water also.

Here's what you need, and although you've still got to deal with a little leaked fluid from the hose down from the clamp and what's in the cpu block, using something like these means you don't need to drain your loop completely.

Or something these in plastic:

Another, but cheaper built, metal clamp:

take a bucket near the cpu block, and just change it.

Then rebleed. 😛

Do it slowly and surely, and you wont run into any problems.

Thanks guys, I went ahead and swapped the tubes. It was not nearly as annoying as I thought it would be 🙂
