I saw Zombieland last night

It kinds of reminded me of stuff like Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, but I found it funnier than Shaun of the Dead. The actors did a really good job, and the script had a lot of small little quirks in it that made it hilarious.

There are so many little nuggets of witty writing in my opinion, it had my smiling and laughing most of the time, just b/c of the absudity or the whole situation.

Sure, there are some gruesome parts, but it's either so over the top, or it's made to look just fake enough where it isn't really a gross out type of movie.

I recommend this movie if you are in the mood for a quirky comedy, don't take things to seriously, and don't mind a little gore once in a while.

Shotgun-blasting a corpse = comedy gold. I'm in.

This cool thing about this movie....it doesn't just rely and gore, sight gags, and obvious zombie humor. It's very smart in my opinion.

A smart zombie movie? Now I MUST see this.

Well, I am going to see it anyway. I love zombie movies, and so do most of my friends.

My wife couldn't understand why I was laughing so hard when I was watching the preview clip. I ran it for her again and she told me that gun safety was not really being shown by the actors. I told her we were going to watch it this weekend. She told me she needed to wash her hair. We are going. Anyway.

I am looking forward to when this comes out on DVD. It looks good, but not enough to get me to go back to a theatre to see it.

Just came back from seeing it. Way way better than what I was expecting, especially since I went to the theatre planning to see Michael Moore's documentary. I'm not too big a fan of Woody Harrelson, but this was just a hillariously fun movie.

Gonna go see it when the girlfriend gets out of work. Rotten Tomatoes has a pretty high score right now too, so that's always a plus.

I wasn't thrilled to see it originally, but it was free for me so I thought, what the heck. It crushed by expectations....Metallica doing the opening song doesn't hurt either 😉 - At least you dodge the bullet that is a Michael Moore film.
