I saw a tit today...

No ox pecker's yet. I'd like to see a pair of tits together. Can you even imagine what a pair of tits just hanging around would look like? Just breath taking 🙂

This reminds me of when the family bitch died and we got her cremated. She is actually in my parent's basement in a chest!

For the novice spotters, they are easiest to spot in cool weather. The markings are more pronounced then. When it becomes too cold their coverings increase making it difficult to get a species identification. Many of them get very shy around cameras and binoculors so discretion is advised. Sometimes their mates have been known to attack the overeager spotter.

Keep an eye out for the Great Tit, they are out there, but very elusive.

Happy spotting

The flat breasted tit is quite common, and not worth observing. The same goes for the hanging tit, unless it is unusally large - see here.
The hairy tit can only be found by going into the deep jungle.

Those Japanese Pigmy Peckers are also quite common! Being a federalist, I enjoy looking at proud Canadian Beavers. 😉
