give it time.

You will get over the experience...somehow. If you are still feeling traumatised after some months, go see a counselor. You must see a counselor in a few months anyway if you want to make sure you dont have PTSD.

You didn't see a suicide, you just saw a dead body after the suicide..

Seeing someone in the act of suicide is more damaging than seeing just a dead body..

Ohh yeah.. I went golfing yesterday (I saw a dead bird)..

read the post more closely smart guy...

my friend saw this guy "jump off a building"..hit the ground..

don't get all freaky about it. people die, and some die under their own power.
you just had a life experience by seeing that.

He was probably talking to the original poster, smart guy. 😉

Anyway, I understand your morbid curiosity, but it's really your own fault you feel traumatized because you kept looking.

he didnt kill himself..there was a ton of blood and he was screaming like CRAZY...
anyway...he died within the next 24 hours...

def. not a good idea to jump of buildings

Which building did he jumped off from? The CLA?? And when was this??

You want to see something sick watch faces of death...jumpers usually bounce quite high when they hit the ground. I couldn't watch the whole series to damn gross.

Did the jumper land on your car? That would traumatize me.
Agreed

Or if he had landed on top of you. I read somewhere where a jumper landed on somebody and they died, yet the jumper lived. That would have been so messed up.

bwhahahahahahha oh man. hey "smart guy" you just think he might be talking to the OP?

heh a bad thread but this just made it funny.

Saw guy stop his car on a R&R crossing and wait for the train to hit him. Helped search for his body. The car was rippen into about 3 major sections and he was thrown about 70 feet into a corn field. When we located his body it was pretty gruesome. Head was cracked open like an egg. Brain was prettymuch gone. It happened a long time ago but every now an then i still think about it. Relax the memory will fade with time. People do these kinds of things from time to time.

Did you just look for his body out of morbid curiosity?
Surely there was no chance that he lived.
I doubt I would have looked for what was left of his body.

I used to be a paramedic - you get used to that kind of stuff although the first few times you see it aren't particularly easy - unless it involved kids then you never get over it.....

I found it best just to talk about it a bit then think about what is important in your life (such as family, friends, money 😉)

bleh bunch of panzys..
you havent seen anything till you see an Airmen recruit walk though a turning prop of a E2C hawkeye ...
