I grew up in socal (lots of illegals). Baiscally you can get, on the black market, a very good SS card for $250 which is an unused # and looks pefect.. Some illegals even buy homes and have credit cards off this number and of course are employed with this.. What you saw was the elcheapo version for around $50. Poor guy probably spent four months saving for it only to get ripped off..

As far as the INS. They only enforce extradition at the border or in high profile cases. Call them sometime an you'll see. Both parties want them here as dpo most everyone with money.

I don't know how easy it is to make a fake number without it already having been used (only ways is if Social security sequencially uses up numbers, so you give one to somebody that SSA has not gotten to yet).

In regards to somebody buying a house/credit card from a fake SS that's just impossible AFAIK. The credit bureaus are in cahoots with the social security administration with at least one step of the process. Your credit file would never work with that number until SSA gives the go ahead.

Whatever. There are ways and I have seen it first hand from friends of mine who own construction companies. They have employees who own homes, have CC's and are here illegaly. And we had an engineer in our group who went to school at UCLA illegal and now works for a state agency, still illegal. Whatever checks they supposedly have are not working or are not enforced.

Thats not true. The cost of living in Texas is cheaper than in other states. Domestic help, landscaping, and all other manual labor is much cheaper in Texas as well. Its no coincidence that the people that have these jobs are by and large hispanic.

I am a business owner and can say very easily that if i hired a black or white to do a job the mexican will, almost always do the job cheaper. Just go to a restaurant and see who does the dishes, the bus boys, etc. etc. Heck, most Chinese restaurants i've seen have Mexican chefs in Houston. Thats why I can the occasional Jalapeno with my Kung Pao chicken 😱

You're right, they can't drive but here, most of them take the bus or are picked up/dropped off. If you want to hire one, they line up on certain streets in the ghetto early in the morning and you can take your pick...

Thats right its wonderful (in an elitist kind of way). If you need your house painted for cheap, you can go to hillcroft in houston early in the morning and throw some in the back of you truck, stop off at homedepot, buy the supplies hand them the paint, brushes, and point them in the right direction. Yeah you better supervise but thats nothing more than kicking back on your couch and popping open a cold Shiner bock while you watch them work for 6 bucks an hour. 😀

Also, mexicans dont' give much lip when they do menial tasks. They do it, and dont' gripe about it. Blacks give too much lip when you tell them to do something, and whites charge more money. So, the mexicans are good to have. Of course not all blacks, whites, or mexicans are like this, but out of 10, 9.9 of the times what i said is true from my personal experience.

Oh not to worry my friend. They will come back when you are williing to work for $4 a day like a worker in Warez Mex. Plus we have good credit, it's only 6 trillion right now or 267K per individual. I'm sure we can get it up to 10 Trill before intrest payments suffocate us.

The only other way is through tarriffs which is a bad word. But works decently for Japan and some European countries to keep a manufacturing base at home. Best find a job in the defese industry for the time being since we will never outsource it...Oh wait mitubishi is building the electronics on the patriot III due out next year. Save now.

Leave the South West, and you can see all those things. My gardners are white, my lawn service is white and my landscaper had white and black laborers last time they were here. The busboys and kitchen crew of most of the restaurants here are white or black. The farm crews here are white or black (mostly white), and the majority of the the day laborers here are white or black.

Best of all, I can order at a fast food drive through, and have the person understand English. Something that hasn't happened when I visit my family in Los Angeles for over a decade.

It means I do not enjoy getting my order screwed up by illiterate, non-English speaking fast food workers. It's bad enough getting it screwed up by illiterate English speaking workers. Throw in an inability to even speak the same language, and the fsck-up rate goes way up. Not to mention the frustration of even ordering the meal.
