I saw a protest today

My roommate and I went to Arbor Brewing Company in Ann Arbor for lunch today and right after we ordered police officers blocked off the ends of the block and about 2000 palestinian americans and arab americans marched by carrying 7 effigies on stretchers and chanting to stop the occupation. It was actually really cool watching them march by. There was also a FOX 2 helicopter flying around overhead. It was a great idea to go to ABC for lunch today.

This is an account of what happened. NO FLAMES!!! This is not a debate!!! <--Don't turn it into one!!!

Yeah...you'll get used to seeing protests. After a while, they all start sounding alike

It's good for people to make their opinions (and numbers) known, especially when not everyone agrees with them.

palenstinians stormed my classroom during lecture the other day (holocaust remembrance day and some palestinian remembrance day). professor was cool about it. thought it was kinda funny at first ... and then we wanted them to leave. after they got kicked out they still disrupted lecture because they decided to demonstrate and chant outside our lecture hall. i sympathize with them and all ... but this only turns more people away from their cause
