Well, obviously the best would be the M3 chassis/weight/handling/tranny, with Mercedes interior and motor 🙂

That's the thing... I don't think the M3 would handle as well with a torquey motor like the C63. The M3 is able to put its power down better. There's a reason it gets nearly the same ET in the 1/4 as the 08 C6 which weighs 200lbs less and has nearly 20 more hp and gobs more torque. The BMW gets away with a cleaner launch and can put the pedal to the metal sooner because the tires won't be overwhelmed as they would be in the C63 or Corvette for that matter.

True. I had a nice Red light battle with an '06 S4 the other night. From a standing start it was neck and neck. Nothing in it, yet he had AWD. I just modulated the throttle at launch and corrected the squirm. It was fun!

I am a fanboy for nothing but porsche's and bmw's

I think lambo's are ugly. I think ferrari's are hot. My personal pinnacle of design is a 2002ish 911 Turbo.

The only people who buy lambo's are douchebags who rev that shit up as high as possible so everybody can turn their heads and look at them
 
^^ If you check out Top Gear's torture testing, the recent round of Lambos have been outstanding cars (Gallardo/Murcialago). Expensive, yes. More expensive than some others than can put down similar numbers, yes. But they're far from weak, and I doubt all or even a majority of their owners are as you say. Or any exotic for that matter. Someone who can drop $250k or so on a car, probably won't be revving it like a angst-ridden teenager anyway. I see exotics all the time in DFW, and they're almost always idling around at the speed limit with owners smiling their rich heads off.

funny, all the lambo's that I've seen (and I've seen quite a few working as a valet), all their owners were douchbags. Rich douchebags, but douchebags nonetheless. The more reasonable rich mother fuckers drove SL55's, F355's, 911T's, etc.

I don't hate on their performance. I just hate the way they look. They don't do it for me. I don't even get mildly excited. I actually prefer the look of a JCW cooper....hell I'd prefer the look of the s2k.
 
so ANYWAY, the exhaust note of the C63 vs. M3... just check the Fifth Gear vid as they take off from stop. I'd take the M3 in a heartbeat. I can listen to that thing all day. (Not like that Trailblazer's ricer hum my neighbor has that I posted about 😉 )
