Fellow Long Island person! I'm in Northport, so if you ever want a  come on over!

Wow, im from Commack but I am going back to school tomorrow, but I will take you up on that beer sometime.

I saw a brown '74 Dodge Dart last week. Even had historic tags.

Aye! A real car. Peppy with the 318 and unstoppable dependability with the slant six. 🙂

The guy was driving awfully slow, though. Either he was afraid of the car, or he was a MB salesman making a home delivery.

i saw a silver one couple weeks ago. I thought those gunmetal AMG rims are pimp

oh yeah definetely . . .

in the past WEEK, i have seen:

Plymouth Prowler
MB SL65AMG
Maybach 62
MB CLS 500 (today)
Ferrari (dunno which one, but it was DEFINITELY a ferrari)
BMW z8

Most people who post here know nothing about cars .They don't even care. So all these LA folks who think they see exotics every 5 seconds probably just can't tell the difference.

LA person: "Woah! A Ferrari 430!"
Me: "That's a Camaro.. a 6 cylinder."
LA person: "But.... it's red... and pointy..."

I wouldn't say that Denver, CO is at the same level as LA but I see a pretty fair share of exotics & expensive cars on a regular basis here as well. Almost regularly see Dodge Viper SRT/10s, Ferraris (there's a Ferrari dealership in town), the occasional Lamborghini, and I've even seen a few Lotuses. Oh almost forgot the Porsche Carrera GT2 I've seen several times, sweet car.

How was the CLS? Did you see it on the road? I saw one at the Benz event in September, and am going to the dealer event on Feb12. Won't be able to drive it

I understand TechnoKid- anyone who enjoys cars as much will remember those details. I could tell you the first time what it felt like to see a Maybach (62) and a SLR (Silver, first one in the US bought for over a million.) Its hard to explain, but looking at a CL65 does something to me-it makes me work that much harder so I can get to that level where I can spend $180k on a secondary car. I know its a little weird, but theres nothing wrong with motivation🙂

The color is called Pewter. Silver with a somewhat beige tint. Nice color, but a little too common today and more sedate. Looks nice on the new E though.

All you people should go to a race sometime. You're literally surounded by fields of exotics, and all of a sudden they don't feel so exotic anymore.

Your automotive knowledge is nothing special, either.

Sniper rifles are not necessary for the law-abiding citizen! 😉

I think I just started it...

Amol - the definition of a stallion and that of a mustangs need not be mutually exclusive.
