I saw a big hawk today

I was at a local Nature Preserve today and me and the person standing next to me were suprised to see a big hawk land a few feet away. She couldn't identify it, and she knows quite a lot about birds.

She said it might have been a Harris Hawk? But in Eastern Massachusetts?

Well, I thought it was interesting.

I think many of us are used to only seeing Red Tails because we live in urban/suburban environments.
