Exactly... there's ads all over in real life. I haven't read the Asimov piece but I thought the movie was decent. Maddox can eat a fat one as far as this movie is concerned.

I did think there was way too much attention on Smith's build, but I doubt I'd be saying the same if it were a woman. The double standard manifests itself again I suppose.

I didn't really think the Converse scene was too much. They tried to portray his character as being somewhat retro, and that scene fit with that idea. It kind of reminded me of Bullock's character in Demolition Man.

I usually agree with Maddox, but I cannot on this. I actually enjoyed the movie, and agree with Descartes on the Converse issue.

I haven't seen the movie but I have read the book. Based on what I've seen in previews, Maddox is accurate that the only thing following the book is the title. I won't waste my money on this one.

The movie looked horrible from the ads, and tbh I don't much like Will Smith movies... they're... well, bad Maddox is funny as hell, and imo usually right. I wouldn't have seen it anyway, the article just supports that decision.
