I, Robot ending, what does it mean?

EDITED TO REMOVE SPOILER IN TOPIC SUMMARY

Don't understand it at all, as it can have a DRAMATIC impact on the mood of the movie, can't believe they left it up in the air like that.

So will sunny led a revolt? Also I though it was cheap that Sunny expressly said that Will Smith (his character) is the one in the picture, when it is really sunny, WTF?? So that means he is bad and misslead and befriended will smith's character?

What do you guys think? Am I dumb and can't see the forest for the trees or is it the movies intent to leave it ambiguous?

Sunny = good guy. Doctor whatever knew that the super computer ai girl whatever was planning a revolution and silence him. The only way he could get word out to Smith was by planning his own death, knowing that Will's african american heritage would make him naive.

Stop lying, there is nothing like that in I, Robot (the real one, not Hardwired).

EDIT: What I mean is you're mistaken, not lying. 🙁

meh not much. the rest of the robots aren't as advanced as sony in any way. they aren't sentient to his degree, thus dont' really need a savior😛

As Maddox says, all the movie has in common with the book is the title.

And I still maintain that no one needed to see Will Smith's ass.

I beg to differ.

It means that the robots are fallible. That they can make mistakes in judgement and decision, and that evolution is working and the robots are just like humans in almost every way mentally. It also means that 1 robot will rise up and become the figurehead.... just like in religion

Why the fck does he need to change the thread title? It says 'I, Robot ending, what does it mean?'

ENDING people it says ENDING. That pretty much means this thread is gonna be sprinkled with spoilers.

So shut the fck up.

I didn't understand the whole alien part, I mean like WTF, they already had sentient robots, a dead scientist, & Will Smith, why did they write in the aliens?

Was it a cheap shot to see Will Smith's ass during the alien anal probe?

I don't think that the movie is supposed to be based off of the book. They just took some ideas and such, and created a whole new story.
