But before getting the maximum possible sentence, Paige tried to get one last dig in at the judge, Vincent Del Giudice, telling him, "With all due respect and from the bottom of my heart, suck my d---."

Without missing a beat, Del Diudice fired off a comeback and then tough justice.

"I respectfully decline your offer," the judge dead-panned. "You are a danger to all civilized members of society."

It would have been better if he had said; "I respectfully decline your offer, but I'm sure you can solicit that request again while you spend the next 107 years in prison"

Seriously, just shoot him, throw him in a landfill and be done with it.

That's nothing. How about this dude from my hometown:

http://www.app.com/article/20110120...ter-suspect-charged-in-second-Lakewood-murder

On the same day that Lakewood police Officer Christopher Matlosz was laid to rest, the man ac*cused of gunning down the officer was charged with a second murder.
Jahmell W. Crockam, 19, also known as “Sav*age” or “Sav,” was charged Thursday with murder and possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose in the October shooting death of 20-year-old Justin A.“Prodigy” Williams, of Jackson, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said.

Way to go NJ. No death penalty. This thug will be a rock star in prison for murdering a cop. His life in the big house will be 1000x better than it was on the street.

Does everyone in your hometown have an alias? If yes, it's time to fuckin move.

Screw that. I grew up in this town, moved many places all over the world and then came back. It's time for the gangbangers to be rounded up and shot. I'm not going anywhere.

Well, get to work vigilante!

I'm just making a general statement. It's interesting to me that all the people referenced in the article had some sort of ridiculous alias.

50LB ball/chain...ankle ... center of Mariana Trench.

ps.. it is really deep :)

"If Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth at 8,848 metres (29,029 ft), were set in the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, there would be 2,076 metres (6,811 ft) of water left above it."

Kind of a bad visual analogy. Isn't Denali or some other mountain the biggest from its base?

The last time I was in court for something other than a traffic charge, the guy who went before me was sentenced to 10 years in prison. (the maximum sentence for his crime was 20)
He looked at the judge and said, "You're awful free with my time your honor!"
The judge never batted an eye, and replied, "You're right. I am. Let's make it 15 years for your smart ass attitude."

Just what I needed...to have the judge who was about to sentence me...all pissed off.

That judge should immediately lose his job. He's supposed to give a sentence he feels is suitable for the crime that was committed. Giving a guy 5 years because he bruised his ego is unconscionable.

Maybe he was being lenient at 10 years. The guy's smart ass attitude made the judge decide that such leniency was not deserved. Not smart at all to mouth off to the judge who has you by the balls...

As much as everyone loves to say "kill the f'er" you know that system never worked in the past and will not now.

Why?

Because, in order to make sure you have the right guy, there have been put into place so many ways to contest and object to the penalty that it gets prohibitively expensive to prosecute the defendant.

IOW, it actually costs more to kill them, if they do not want to die, then to put them on ice for life.

The counter for this many say is to remove all these means and methods of contestation. Unfortunately, even with all of them in place, we have found many cases where the wrong person was convicted, railroaded, imprisioned and/or killed.

You get rid of those safety measures and a lot of other innocent people will end up dying.

And everyone wil be much happier until it happens to someone they know.

As for the "suck my" comment. The only comeback would be for the judge to let him know he will probably be hearing a lot of that himself where he is going.
