I was lying in bed this morning, and my EVGA 8800GT's box happened to be behind my head, so I started reading it... And it turned out I was supposed to register it within 30 days of purchase to get the lifetime warranty! I ordered it on 4/3/2008. DOH!! I just registered it, but the "My Products" page doesn't say anything about 1 year. It says 33 days left for step-up so obviously it recognizes the date. How do you know if it really is only 1 year?

I also forgot to register my EVGA 8800GT within the first 30 days but contacted EVGA and they said they would still cover it under their lifetime warranty.

I would send them an email or open a support ticket to them. Hopefully, you'll get the same response and be able to use it if you ever need to warranty it.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering about that, because I hear their support is really good. Who did you email? If there is an address for questions, I'll look for it on the site.

I believe I went to their customer support page and sent an email thru a form.
