Same here... and for the record, SMALL cup is, by definition, nowhere near being TALL. Screw marketing...

I dont know of a coffee place that doesnt use special names for their sizes.

Hate to break it to you, but the "small, medium, large" names have been terminated.

Ahh, I loved that movie. I think I watched it 5 times in one day once.

fixed and QFT. that place is for nancy boys.

It does have a convenience factor, there are almost 200 of the things within 5 miles of me. Personally, I just get regular drip coffee so it isn't that much.

Someone let me know when the hating on Starbuck's bandwagon finally grinds to a halt.

 ever notice they repeat it back to you in Starbuckise?

They have to, it's the way they call orders. They're calling it to the barrista, and when you're making a bazillionty drinks an hour, having it called in a regular manner is the only way you'll catch it.

I don't go to Starbucks, generally. But I also don't feel the need to assert my independance, by fvcking with their schema if I happen to stop in. The way I see it if I don't like the experience, I'm free to go elsewhere.

iirc, they used to have a smaller size than tall. i think it was small, tall, and grande. but no one wanted 4 oz of burnt coffee.
