I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE!

After I successfully loaded Windows XP on my computer, I have this VERY annoying problem with my floppy. Everytime when I copy or erase files on the "A" drive, it gives me a constant, loud "beeping" noise! Also, the power light and the Hard Drive light will flash, constantly, none stop. The only way i can stop this constant noise and flashing of the lights is by rebooting or shutting down the comp. (I already did the Windows Update, but still it dosen't help). :|

Like system specs, power supply... motherboard especially.

Right now I would say try looking for a bios update to the motherboard. If its a VIA chipset based board use the 4-in-1 drivers

lol trouble shooting floppy problems? hehe its a waste of time if you ask me. i unplugged my floppy oo about 10 months ago and have yet to use it for anything. usually i email myself the files or burn it. really suggest you start moving away from floppies. i guess this doesnt solve your problem but...
