Great interior, sexy exterior. This car could have me.

I might have to go test drive one of these.

Update: Just returned from driving a barely used 2012 C350 Coupe. Car has 11,000 miles on it, it is silver with grey leather interior and walnut wood trim. Not a mark anywhere on the car, it was flawless. It had the panoramic sunroof, 18" AMG sport wheels, nav system, the works. My son and I took it for a spin. The car is comfortable, smooth, has excellent brakes and that 3.5l V6 is plenty powerful. It also makes nice noises. I didn't floor it but I was pretty close and it accelerates like a small V8.

Brakes are very touchy and they haul that car down quickly if you jab them too hard. They are very powerful.

I took it on the freeway briefly and it is quiet and comfortable. You could soak up freeway miles for hours in this car and I'm sure it would be fun in the mountains too.

Anyway, I loved the driving position, seats are excellent and comfortable. Interior is quite attractive and fit and finish was what you'd expect from a Mercedes-Benz. I liked the thickly padded steering wheel which telescopes and adjusts up and down at the touch of a stalk under the steering column. That panoramic sunroof is really nice too, it opens up the entire cabin even the rear and if you want to cut out the sun there is a one touch retractable shade that runs the length of it.

I played around with the nav system a bit and the voice commands work pretty well. Didn't have my phone with me but the saleswoman had her iphone and it synched up easily via bluetooth and we quickly had her playlist blasting through the Harmon Kardon sound system.

They are asking $38,900 for it... I am tempted. No pressure at all at the dealership which I like.

They definitely look nice, but the interior materials felt somewhat subpar to me. The buttons had that nasty plastic 'click' feel; the nav UI was a clunky mess; and the seat was super stiff. (Granted the one I was in had fake leather)

The new C-Class look amazing as a whole.
BMW currently has nothing on Mercedes if you ask me.
After seeing the SLS AMG black series at the auto show.. good lord. <3

I love the look of the exterior, but the interior doesn't do it for me. In my opinion, the F30 3-series BMW and Audi B8 interiors are better looking (although, i'm a bit biased about the Audi interior as I just bought a S4 a couple days ago).

The 'details' are okay, but its general shape bothers me. It looks like a Toyota Solara. Back end all fugly and such.

I like it ok but it looks like an Accord with a Mercedes front end. The interior is nice other than I'm not a big fan of the wood.

I wish Mercedes would come up with a new hood though. Here I think if they'd have made the top of the headlight housing flat and just had a continuous hood line it'd look better too.

It's because the doors are too close to the front axle. It gives it a cab forward look, like a FWD car. That's the downside of Mercedes's switch to V6 vs I6. My first thought was that the proportions make it look like an Accord coupe.

For me, I think it's more 'needs less rear window and more trunk.'

All of MB's designs have gradually gotten more glass in back and less trunk profile. I know all cars have been moving that way for aero reasons, but I think they could make them look better without sacrificing much if anything.

Luxury cars are supposed to have trunks, IMO. No bubbly rear sections, please.

But you're right, now that I look at the pics again. It would pull off the back end better if the front looked more aggressive. Basically, there's just too much damn sloping everywhere. It's not supposed to have the profile of stretched out Beetle, dammit. :p

I really like it but it does have some accord in it in my eyes

Biggest downside of these cars is they don't sell them with a manual transmission. Just buy a Camry

the styling is nice but they are a dime a dozen...all over the place. Also, with the sports package + navi, the C350 is about 50k...literally with just those two features and nothing else. I have a long list of cars I would pick over this thing at 50k.

Agreed... it is overpriced. If the base car had about 50 more hp it would be really hot.

I like the e series too but the maintenance on them is a lot. Luckily If I had one I would take it to one my foreign mechanics who only worked on bmw and Mercedes.

They should have better trunk space but the interior looks gorgeous. Are heated seats and auto everything such as wipers, standard ?

I looked at the c class the last two timed I bought cars. Well built but they just don't drive as well.

Mercedes sport seats are also pretty poor compared to BMW / Audi. The w204 refresh at least brought the interior up to par. The 2008-2010 models just felt too cheap to be premium. C250 is a bit underpowred too but I agree the coupe isn't bad looking. But at least me personally it doesn't get you super excited either. C350 on the other hand could be loads of fun. One of the last non forced induction cars out there for what its worth. Very smooth engine. The w204 also has been fairly reliable too at least. Mercedes put the work in reliability wise around since when the s550 came out
