When Obama was campaigning and right after he was elected, some people seriously thought that they would be set for life. People actually thought they would get free phones, free cars, free houses, free healthcare...the list goes on and on.

Now that we are a couple years into his presidency, it should be clear to anyone with an IQ that those things will never happen. Nothing is free. Our own hard work is the only thing that will fulfill our needs. Not another person, not the government, just us.

I'm really not saying this as an insult at Obama or democrats. I'm saying that America has learned a tough lesson.
 
This thread says so much more about the OP than anyone else here - his lack of understanding of Democrats, which is typical here, but this is quite bad.

It might also suggest the level of straw man, of misinformation, that right-wing propaganda fed into many citizens.

They need to learn a lesson about how they're lied to by people with an agenda.
 
Who really thought that? All the rightwingers that were (and still are) whining about things like Socialism and wealth redistribution. OMG Obama is going to spread my wealth all around the ghetto!! I'm glad at least one realizes it's BS. Now make a thread telling everyone he's not really a "messiah" so that shit will stop too.
