I'm a fruit juice junkie. Just last night I guzzled a quart/liter of pear "nectar" and grape juice. Anyway, I go to one of those off-brand stores fairly often (for me) and they have all these different nectars from Europe and at really good prices. $3.5 for pure pomegranate juice. I saw this bottle with "mango" on the label and I was thinking, ok, the guava is yellow, pear is yellow, peach is yellow, this is yellow. How bad can it be.
I really can't explain what I don't like about it though. It hits your tongue with a nice, fresh, sweet taste but the aftertaste is like . . . IDK. Mango-flavored sweat socks maybe?
With most things I can identify the offending taste. So for cilantro - soap, as an example. I might have to buy more just so I can try to work that out. And yes, in my universe, that makes perfect sense. Hehe
