I care more about animals than humans. You could make the obvious claim that since humans are animals, caring about all animals versus just one specifically is clearly better, but that's splitting hairs. I like animals more than humans because animals don't commit arson. Animals will kill in the wild, they will rape, they will do vicious, depraved things to other animals (occasionally within their own species). But they don't start fires. Humans are the only animal that commits arson. You won't find kangaroos burning down churches or lighting each other on fire. That makes non-human animals better in my opinion.
